Slow Cooker Beef Stew

Okay, I cheat.

But this stuff makes the best darn beef stew this side of the mason dixon.



Just throw five cups of cubed fresh vegetables (potatoes, carrots, celery, onions) , 2 lbs lean stewing beef into your slow cooker.

Combine seasoning mix with 1 1/3 cups beer, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1 tsp worcestershire sauce, and a tsp of powdered garlic. Pour over vegetables and meat. Toss to coat well.

Cover. Cook on low for 8 hours or 4 hours on high.
